Resources That I Recommend & Use With Clients
Meditation is a powerful tool that we can use to help calm our bodies, quieten our minds, and allow healing to take place. You don’t have to be a Buddhist monk to meditate, you only need to experiment a little and find what works best for you…
I also believe in “Active Meditation”, this is when you have that quiet time, and shut off inside your head while you are actively doing something you love like running, or listening to music. This active meditation is also vitally important every day to help keep you aligned with your true self.
The Best Apps & Youtube Meditations That I Recommend Are:
Binaural Beats & Deep Theta 5.5Hz Isochronic Tones
When two tones of specific frequencies are played through headphones, the brain can become confused and produce its own, imagined tone—a three-dimensional audio hallucination heard only within the head of the listener. The frequencies that produce this phenomenon are known as Binaural Beats.
Binaural Beats is a powerful way to allow your brain sink into an Alpha wavelength which is optimal for healing.
Theta Isochronic tones are designed to make it easier to experience a deeper state of meditation, usually only achieved after many years of practice.
This session begins at the top of the high Alpha range (12 Hz), and guides you down to high Theta in about 7 minutes. Then gently down to deep Theta (5.5 Hz) by the 14 minutes mark, where it holds you for just over half an hour before gradually taking you into a more aware but still relaxed state in high Alpha.
NOTE: Listen to Binaural Beats through your headphones when you are relaxing and in a quiet place.
